Based on one of Thomas BlackshearÕs favorite Ebony Visions pieces, the plate is only available to member renewing or joining for the 2001 club year. The original A Child Shall Lead Them sculpture was available only to charter member of the The Blackshear Circle when it made its debut in 1997. “I´m very proud of this piece,”

Thomas said at the time, "It´s a crossover piece for the line." Thomas described the divine inspiration of the piece as coming from the scripture about the lion lying down with the lamb and “...a child shall lead them.” The piece remains a favorite of this to this day.

Autumn, the 2001 Members only sculpture, is the third in a series of member-exclusive pieces that portray the joys of each changing season.
